WE’RE REINVENTING THE CLASSICS!

Music Theatre of Wichita, one of the nation’s top ten summer theatres, invites you to fill your summer with song and dance.

We are gearing up for another spectacular season featuring five Broadway quality shows inspired by five masterful authors.

Our season kicks off June 4th with A Funny Thing Happened on the Way To The Forum, based on the Roman comedies of Plautus. This is followed by the timeless classic My Fair Lady. Next up is Big River, the toe-tapping adaptation of Mark Twain’s masterpiece "Adventures of Huckleberry Finn." You’ll be All Shook Up when Shakespeare meets Elvis in this hilarious romantic comedy. The curtain comes down on our entertaining season with the international sensation Les Miserables , based on Victor Hugo’s epic novel.
