About Central Star Credit Union

Central Star Credit Union was chartered in 1940 by 10 Beech Aircraft employees. We ended that first year with less than 50 members and only $126 in assets. Our goal was simple - to provide low-cost financial solutions for Beech Aircraft employees. Today, Central Star Credit Union proudly serves what is now Hawker Beechcraft—and, we also serve Sedgwick, Butler, Harvey, McPherson and Saline counties.

At Central Star, our mission is to educate our members so they can reach their goals. We support our members through financial education, lower loan rates and higher dividend rates. Our members earn more on savings and pay less on loans. As a not-for-profit cooperative, our purpose is to support your financial health.
