About Cheesecake and more...

Cheesecake!  That rich and sinful dessert enjoyed by many.  Cheesecake is a very popular dessert enjoyed plain or your favorite fruit topping.  Did you know it even has its own food holiday on July 30th.

Lori has always had a creative streak in her and has worked as a nurse for over 24 years.  One of her outlet for this creativity has been baking and decorating cakes.  In the process of making cakes for family and friends, she began to think of this hobby as potentially something more.

Cheesecake and more has been open since October 2007.  We are located at 1821 W. 13th N.   Wichita, KS 67203, one block east of Mclean Blvd on the south side of the street. 

Cheesecake and more is pleased and proud to say that all desserts are made from scratch, on site, with fresh high-quality ingredients.  For two of our more popular flavors we hand squeeze the key limes and lemons used. 

The cheesecakes are made and kept in stock in the 6” size for singles and small families to enjoy.  All flavors can be made as cupcakes or 10” and larger sizes within 24 to 48 hours of order placed.  For those wanting a variety of flavors we have our Cheesecake Bites.  These platters are made up of bite size pieces of customer choice of flavors.  All cheesecakes are decorated with fresh (made on site) whipped topping and garnishments.

We currently have over 20 flavors of cheesecake.  Some of the more popular flavors are:  Plain (can be served with topping of choice), Fresh Lemon, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Key Lime, Strawberry Swirl, and White Chocolate Raspberry.  We also have some very unique flavors:  Cherry Limeade (tastes just like a Sonic Cherry Limeade), Tumbleweed (based on the mixed drink served in Restaurants), Café AuLait (a mocha latte in cheesecake form), Peanut Butter, and a Green Tea.  Seasonal Favorites:  Pumpkin Spice, Egg Nog, Caramel Apple, Cranberry, Peppermint.

Also available on order basis are pies, breads, and cakes.  Some of the most popular cakes are:  Hummingbird (a banana, pineapple, spice cake from the Deep South), Carrot, Zucchini-Carrot, and Boston Cream Pie Cake.

Available on special order are custom designer cakes for all occasions, including weddings.

I am proud to say that we worked with Dr Mike Lloyd during the 2008 Man/Woman of the Year Fundraising event for the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society.  During that time we made 10” Heart shaped cheesecakes and a percentage of the cost of the cake went to the raising of money to find the cure for the many individuals suffering from the many types of Leukemia and Lymphoma diseases.

What started out as a dream for me is now becoming a reality.  Thanks to the many loyal customers I have had over the last year and welcome to the many more I hope to find and make happy with the love of cheesecake.
