Prairie View has a passion for helping people live well and relate to one another in a positive, healthy manner. By offering a complete range of mental and behavioral health services for children, adolescents, adults, older adults and families, Prairie View is able to treat depression, anxiety disorders, marital and family conflicts, aging issues, addictions and more.
On March 15, 1954, Prairie View opened its doors with a vision of caring for the emotional and psychological needs of persons with dignity, respect and the highest standards of care. Today, we are the state’s longest-serving non-profit behavioral and mental health center with six locations staffed with knowledgeable, caring professionals ready to assist you on your path to recovery.
The cost for services at Prairie View is covered by most major medical insurance programs, Medicaid, Medicare and TriCare.
As the community mental health center for McPherson, Marion and Harvey counties, residents can receive services based on their ability to pay, and none will be denied services due to inability to pay.
