Wichita has loved the great taste of El Mexico for 30-plus years. When it closed last May, it was greatly missed – so loyal customer Brent Helm stepped in to bring it back. He and his wife Rhonda partnered with William Villar Jr., who had opened the restaurant in 1976 with his mother Mary, later selling it to Villar’s father, William Villar Sr., who retired.
Now with an updated interior, nonsmoking ambiance, private dining room and featuring a strolling mariachi band on weekends, El Mexico Cafe on Seneca is ready to serve up those famous Special Montereys and Deluxe Burritos once again. Because one thing hasn’t changed – that’s the great food that everyone loves and remembers.
So we’d like to say “Gracias, Wichita!” for showing us how much you have loved dining at El Mexico. Come and see us now for unforgettable Mexican cuisine!
We didn't create great mexican food, we only perfected it!
