Job Description:
Handyman Matters is always looking for Multi-Skilled Craftsmen in all areas of Carpentry-Rough & Finish/Drywall/ Electrical/Plumbing/Tile/Decks/Flooring/ Bathroom & Kitchen repairs or remodeling/Concrete/Doors/Painting/and Roofing.
The Greater metro Wichita location has is an immediate need for multiple Handypeople at various skill levels . People are needed to keep up with our planned growth and projected business.
We staff an office that is highly trained in selling projects, scheduling, and dispatching with the Craftsperson in mind.
Handyman Matters offers consistent year round work. The more skills, the busier you will be. Carpentry /Drywall /Electrical /Plumbing /Tile. You will provide your own Tools & Vehicle. Our hourly wage is competitive and we provide: Cell Phone / Internet / Mileage Reimbursements / Bonuses / Individual Health Insurance / Flexible Scheduling / Paid Vacation /Regular Reviews.
We have been selling projects over the phone since 1997. We evaluate your skill sets and matches you with the jobs you are best qualified to perform, and selects projects closest to your home. All job assignments are sent to you via email. The only time you need to come into the office is for prescheduled meetings.
Since 95% most of our jobs are sold over the phone and generally are from a list of repeat customers, you simply show up and give a final evaluation of the project scope and process, including a general time frame and the materials needed and go right to work.
YOU are in control of the project from start to finish and that is why we ask that you have experience in multiple trades including: carpentry, drywall, plumbing, electrical, tile, and miscellaneous repairs and maintenance. We will never ask you to pull any money out of your pocket to work for us. You will be compensated for the use of your vehicle (truck, van, or SUV preferred) and you are issued a company credit card to purchase materials for your projects.

We conduct background checks and drug screening on all potential employees.
