Job Description:
Must have the ability to work from customer drawings and specifications, and fabricate parts and assemblies that meet all dimensional and quality requirements. Our machinists are constantly improving their own skills and techniques to improve productivity and quality levels. They are team workers, responsible not only for their own work but for the success of their team. Machinists work to achieve the goals of their Leadman, the Manufacturing Department and the Company Quality Policy.
CNC Machining Center Machinists will be certified to Operations Procedure 9.0430 and 9.0402.
Class C CNC Machining Center Machinists will:
•Be capable of reading most blueprints with minimal supervision
•Set up and run most jobs on any equipment in their area of expertise with minimal supervision and acceptable workmanship
•Posses a basic set of personal measuring tools
•Be familiar with most common material specifications
•Consistently maintain tolerances within +/-.005”
Class B CNC Machining Center Machinists will:
•Be capable of reading any blueprint or specification with no supervision
•Setup and run virtually any job on any equipment in their area of expertise with minimal supervision and high precision and productivity
•Posses a complete set of personal measuring tools
•Have a working knowledge of materials and standard practices
•Consistently maintain tolerances within +/-.001”
•Exhibit satisfactory performance as a Class C for at least one year
Class A CNC Machining Center Machinists will:
•Be considered an expert in all aspects of CNC Machining Center Machining
•Be capable of coaching and training team mates
•Consistently work to precision tolerances at exemplary production and quality levels
•Exhibit satisfactory performance as a Class B for at least five years
