Job Description:
Our Goal for Customer Satisfaction
Warehouse Operators are the front line players to ensuring that our team meets the Customers expectations. It is the company expectation that Warehouse Operators initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities (problems) relating to product, process, and quality system, help in identifying and recording any problems relating to product, process, and quality system and it is asked that Warehouse Operators initiate recommendations and provide solutions through designated channels to ensure that we meet the Customers expectations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receiving, stocking, and shipping of customer products.
Unloading trailer – by lift truck or/and physical labor
Verifying quantities received against paperwork
Reviewing the condition of product to ensure it meets customer specifications
Locating and stocking in warehouse
Filling out required paperwork accurately
Take stock inventories and cycle counts
Proper stock rotation
Pulling orders from stock, verifying correctness
Stenciling, labeling, or packaging
Load into outgoing trucks
Ensuring that paperwork is completed accurately and turn in to the appropriate location
Line Side Replenishment
Kitting, light assembly, and rework
Plastic Resin packaging from railcars to boxes
Cleaning trailers & railcars
Safety
General Housekeeping
Basic Computer Skills
Overtime & weekends is required in order to service our customers needs
The individual task listed above will vary from day to day to meet customer expectations! Specific customer needs are provided by Customer Service Reps, Whse Leads, Team Leaders, and UWC ISO documents.
