Job Description:
MANUFACTURING
JR CUSTOM METAL PRODUCTS has an immediate opening for a MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for:
•Performs routine preventive maintenance on CNC and welding equipment, and building systems
•Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment mechanical and electrical problems on machinery, develops and executes corrective actions to return machinery to good working order with as little down time as possible.
•Makes minor electrical repairs, installs electrical wiring for new equipment.
Qualifications include:
•A minimum 5 years experience with general repairs
•A minimum 3 years experience with basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC
•Prior experience with CNC equipment (laser, hi-definition plasma, turret, brake, shear, robotic welders)
•Prior experience with facilities repairs including overhead crane, fork lifts, transportation vehicles)
Prefer:
•ISO approved systems, equipment maintenance software, and predictive maintenance
• Ability to train and pass on technical knowledge to others
