Job Description:
POSITION PURPOSE:
Maintain all pools and spa’s in good repair to ensure an attractive and well maintained.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Maintain the physical appearance of all pools and spas by maintaining water chemical balance, pumps, filters, and physical properties to ensure clean, clear, and attractive pools and spas.
Ordering and monitoring all supplies required to maintain pools and spas.
In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of supportive functions, with the allotment of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the resort.
• Detailed record keeping is required for log and inspection sheets.
• Maintain inventory of supplies needed to perform job functions.
• Report major repairs and items that can not be repaired to supervisors for further action.
• Due to the nature of our business the individual may be required to perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the supervisors such as making props or cleaning the work shop.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Individuals must posses and demonstrate the ability to interact with all customers, internal and external, effectively with tact and diplomacy in line with our service standards.
• Knowledge of all maintenance trades, including electrical, plumbing, water chemistry, and natural gas properties.
• Skills in the use of related tools, including hand ,and power tools.
• Basic English language and mathematical skills in order to communicate with co-workers.
• Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, and kneeling.
• Ability to push, and pull objects weighing up to 100lbs and grasp lift or carry items weighing up to 50lbs.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders, for extended periods of time often times overhead.
• Knowledge of safety and handling procedures of all pool, and spa chemicals.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or GED required
EXPERIENCE: Experience in all pool maintenance. Experience in other maintenance trades a plus.
APPEARANCE: Highly professional appearance. All Associates must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance.
