Responsibilities: Provide year-round instruction to children with low incidence disabilities (autism, sensory impairment, moderate to severe developmental and behavior problems) in self-contained classroom. Students are ages 5 - 21. Design and implement instructional programs to meet individual student needs. Small class sizes, high staff/student ratio with collaborative team support of medical, psychology & therapy support services provided based on individual student needs.
Other: Degree in Special Education & Kansas K-12 certification. Prefer MS. with experience in multiple disabilities. Will consider other certifications if willing to obtain necessary coursework while employed. Competitive salary based on education and experience.
