Job Description:
Position Responsibilities
1. Contact potential technology product customers by cold calling, present product benefits and aggressively seek customer commitment to technology solutions.
2. Contact potential technology product customer and direct mail campaigns. Establish contact with appropriate customer representative and present product benefits of technology solutions.
3. Perform required follow-up by mail and telephone to potential customers until product commitment or determination of additional follow-up is unproductive.
4. Monitor new account success by contacting customer at scheduled intervals to insure product satisfaction and determine additional account potential through other product families, locations and departments.
5. Responsible for resolving any customer account issues that require corrective action beyond the parameter of Customer Service.
6. Responsible for other outbound promotional programs, including but not limited to, reactivation, retention, leads and knowledge base marketing programs.
7. Associate receives minimal supervision. Individual initiative is required to manage own time and effectively utilize the sales team leaders’ guidance. Responsible for making supervisory-level decisions on service/product issues to satisfy customer needs, may include merchandise credits, diverting, and canceling orders. Product knowledge and pricing based on customer’s requests and needs.
8. Communicate with other departments as needed to best serve the customer. Interact regularly with people at all levels inside and/or outside the company.
9. Sell to new customers and existing customer territory over the telephone. Maintain margin and volume goals while increasing penetration of technology product usage.
